Trail running & race preparation

Discuss the terrain you want to understand and the skills you want to develop. Independent leaders and coaches can be approached for course familiarity, technical confidence, climbing, descending and pacing.

Private team retreats

Make space for your team to spend time together, away from the everyday routine. We can discuss mountain activities, shared challenges and time to relax, with specialist facilitation where needed.

Discuss a team retreat

You can enquire on your own or with a group. Suitable activities and any opportunity to join others are confirmed individually; an enquiry does not reserve a place.

Business teams

Time together, beyond the workplace.

A mountain outing, room for a team conversation and time to enjoy Chamonix together. Tell me what you want the visit to achieve and we can explore the right balance for your people.

You can start with an idea. Accommodation, activities and any specialist facilitation are discussed with the relevant independent providers before arrangements are agreed.

  • Your team size, possible dates and length of stay
  • The balance of time outdoors, work sessions and downtime
  • The group's walking or running experience and confidence
  • Accommodation needs, a budget and any practical priorities

Before, around or after your race

Know the terrain. Understand your pace.

Preparing for UTMB Mont-Blanc, the Marathon du Mont-Blanc or another local race? Tell me your event and what would help: getting familiar with relevant trails, confidence on technical ground, managing climbs and descents, or pacing a long mountain day.

A visit can also focus on time around your race or a quieter stay afterwards. Independent professionals confirm the scope of their sessions, participant suitability and a plan that respects conditions and event restrictions.

Unique Aspect is independent of these events. No official affiliation, entry, race access or result is implied.

Taste of the Alps

Make space around the table.

Bring your own breakfasts and trail lunches, cook together using suitable facilities, or plan a refuge lunch or restaurant dinner. Food can give the group time to stop and talk between activities.

Your group buys and looks after its own food, or pays the refuge or restaurant directly for a meal there. Facilities, access, opening times and reservations are discussed alongside the retreat plans.

The time between activities

Recovery deserves a place in the conversation.

Good food, a comfortable base and time to slow down matter too. If you would value yoga, massage, physiotherapy or room for sightseeing, mention it in your enquiry.

I draw on around ten years of working with chalets and guests in Chamonix to find the right people to approach. Specialists are sourced after the enquiry. Their availability, credentials, services and terms are confirmed directly; they are not automatically included or guaranteed.

A local host

I’m your personal point of contact for local knowledge and the practical details. My hosting and guest support is offered for an agreed fee per stay or event, with the scope and price confirmed before you go ahead. I host and may shadow the independent professionals.

Independent expertise

Running, coaching, instruction and specialist care are delivered by the appropriate independent professionals. They assess suitability and are responsible for their own sessions.

Direct arrangements

We discuss the possibilities by email. Each provider confirms their own offer and terms; you contract with and pay the provider directly. The website takes no bookings or payments.

Mountain-leader and chalet introductions remain free, with no commission.
